Just got a electronic trailer brake controller installed by A&B Hitches and Mufflers and they were beyond good! My appointment was for 0900 I got there at 0845 and the y immediately put my vehicle in. After a little less than an hour it was installed. They also took the time to explain the controller and made sure I had the original packaging/instructions. What blew me away was sitting in the office hearing him interact with customers on the phone and in person with a great deal of empathy and professionalism. Top Notch!!!

I had Mark at A & B Hitches in Hesperia install a fifth wheel hitch for my truck. I had him also install a trailer cable plug in the truck bed. He was awesome to work with. He was recommended by my RV dealer, and in turn I highly recommend him.

Mark was responsive to all my questions from the get go and stood by his workmanship and parts warranty after installation. He addressed my concern with the trailer plug as the truck DIC kept displaying "trailer plug disconnected" and "check trailer brakes wiring" when connected to the fifth wheel trailer. Mark immediately replaced the newly installed plug to no avail. He eventually determined that the problem was with the truck. So, I took it to the dealer where the problem was addressed.

Mark was patient and helpful throughout the process. His great professional attitude and customer service made driving all the way from the Inland Empire to Hesperia to visit his shop more than worth it. In addition, the cost to do business with him was very reasonable and competitive. I plan on taking my trailer back to him for all routine maintenance.

I took my F-350 to get a Banks Monster exhaust installed and they were able to get it done professionally and in a timely manner.

Awesome experience with Mark , let me start by saying you don't come across real man like Mark anymore, it's rare! very honest guy, I was in a pinch trying to get my ford oem 5th wheel puck system installed in my truck the same day, I called Mark and after a few minutes on the phone with him he accommodated for me to bring my truck in and get it done, less to say 2 hours later my system was installed in my truck and at a reasonable price, I will most definitely bring all my trailer needs to Mark from now on, he just gain a forever customer and I will also recommend everybody I know with a trailer A&B Hitches for any trailers need...

Great experience with Mark and crew! I was on a time-crunch with upcoming trip, and needed fifth-wheel prep kit, gooseneck, and wiring harness installed before the trip. In addition to this, I needed/wanted to source a Reese Goosebox (that I would install myself), and Mark spent the time finding a rep who had one in stock, and could get it delivered in time before our upcoming trip.

After the same-day prep-kit/harness install, when I went to pick it up, I quickly discovered I had forgotten to order Gooseneck safety chain anchors. Mark went into the back of the shop, and found the last and exact set of OEM chain anchors that I needed - and for a fair price! With the quality work and fast delivery, I will definitely go to them again!

Someone stole my catalytic converter off my our motorhome. I called Mark, he asked for a picture so that he could give me an estimate. Estimate was fair so I took it in. Not only did they do a great job, but he charged me significantly less than the original estimate. My ride fell through so I had to wait, it didn't take long, 2 hours. I highly recommend this place. This shop was amazing! I called and they were able to check out my car same day. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, and fast.

My dad and I were on a road trip to desert and our trailers axel bearing totally blew out. We hopped over to this shop where the service manager gave us a diagnostic and supplied us with parts we needed. He couldn't fix it that day but offered the tools, parts, and expertise on how to do it. We successfully pulled off the bearings, replaced the parts and left within a couple of hours to make our trip. We seriously could not thank him enough for the help. Thank you!

Super happy with the experience here to get some custom fixes on my trailer build. I’d been other places where my trailer is there for weeks or they told me they could not do the work I asked. Here they got it all done in a day! I’m happy to bring back my cars and trailer here anytime

Mark and his crew are awesome. They have a great selection of parts and also do great work. I've two B & W gooseneck hitches installed, bought a B & W 5th wheel hitch that goes into my gooseneck hitch. They great people.

We were new to fifth wheels and needed a fifth wheel hitch installed pretty quickly in our truck (we had already purchased the fifth wheel). When I called, I told him what we wanted and he gave me a price for the hitch, parts and install. It was super reasonable so I made an appointment. Brought the truck in and left it for the day and it was done right when he said it would be! He even went above and beyond and installed a new 7 pin plug in the bed of the truck for us, so that the cord wouldn't have to go up and over the tailgate to the stock plug! Awesome service, quick turnaround time and great pricing!

This place is AWESOME!! Great prices and customer service!! Mark and his staff installed everything to flat tow our hummer behind our motorhome in time for our vacation. They were very thorough in showing how everything worked. Our vacation was SUPER GREAT thanks to this place!!! :)

Brought my van in to have a trailer plug repaired. They did a great job putting it in my bumper (as opposed to the RV place that used a cheesy little metal hanger). It looks solid and the price was excellent. Would recommend to anyone having a hitch and wiring installed.

Contacted Mark (owner) regarding brake inspection on my new to me '14 Keystone Fuzion Toy Hauler. Mark was able to schedule me in within 3 days which is unheard of in RV repair businesses. Brought rig in which had minimum braking effect from 3 axle drum brakes. Mark and his experts were able to get my brakes working like new as I could now stop in short distance my 8k# dually tow vehicle and 14k# trailer with just the trailer brakes. We high desert residents are lucky to have this talented and honest small business owner and staff in our neighborhood. Thanks again Mark and staff for honest quality workmanship at an affordable price.

They have the best fabrication and welding crew you will find anywhere in the high desert. And the busiest, of course. You might have to get an appointment at a near-future date, but when you come in you won't wait around long before you can see they're working for you.

They don't mess around hemming & hawing about "what maybe can be done" to repair your trailer, RV or tow rig back to "factory" or even better; or modifying to your desires within logical, safety and legal parameters; they know what those are for your job.

I've had several jobs done there, knew what they intended to do for me, and saw that the excellent work had been done. Even if your problem is a mystery to you, go there to find out what it is, how to fix and get it done; just like that.

I dropped in right before closing and the boss himself helped me with a new receiver and ball as well as disassembling another hitch related item I brought with me. Fast and friendly place. I recommend!

Mark is an incredibly knowledgeable person and cares completely for each customer. We were stranded in the desert with a broken 5th wheel and he talked me through how to disengage the trailer and offered to help find the adapting 5th wheel. It's nice to know there are still shop owners out there that care and make sure they follow through with their service. I would highly recommend this company.

Great work done in a timely manner. Staff is very business like. They are not rude by any means. They are short and to the point and quick to get on the work you bring in to have done by them. Prices are competitive. I have been going to them for the last 10 years.

Brought my trailer in for a winch to get installed , also hade them weld on d rings and tail light housings, they were so amazing, they went way above and beyond, they also fixed my fenders without being asked . I could list all the little things they did, but the bottom line is just how impressed with this company. I fully expected to pay three or four times as much as I did, but they gave me a honest price for honest work. And this will be my trailer/welding shop for life now. Hands down would highly recommend this shop to anyone/ everyone for now on. Thank you mark.

Excellent Service and fair pricing!! So there I was stuck on the side of the road with a hitch that had failed on my motor home while on the way out of town. I called Mark at A & B Hitches and Mufflers and he was able to move some work around to get me in just after lunch and get me going again!! To top it off he didn't gouge me for the repair work either...it was a fair price and the repair looks excellent and I don't think it will ever fail. I highly recommend this business if you are in need of hitch repair or welding!!

Brought the car to get the muffler fixed upon inspection they discovered that the work was not that much... quote had been $100 and turned out to be $70 very honest place I would definitely recommend it... I definitely recommend an appointment because this place is so popular and has great reviews so he's really busy all the time..I might add that it's very clean especially for us ladies that sometimes have to wait.. There is a restroom but it is unisex

Mark and his crew went above and beyond to get me back on the road after the wheel bearings failed on my horse trailer. He had the bearings, races, seal, nut, washer and dust cap in stock! When the bearing failed it damaged my brake system, and they were able to remove the brake caliper and plug the line so I could get home. The only two parts he didn't have I had to order direct from the axle mfg.

I have a fleet of work trailers. This is my go to shop. These guys are very professional and do great job. They have worked on my equipment many times and always have the job completed when they said they would. Very knowledgeable and super friendly.

This is an excellent shop. I went there because I bottomed out my car going over a little curb and dinged my exhaust system underneath the car. When I called in to get an estimate Mark answered. I described the problem I was having and that i believed I had an exhaust leak and needed to get a quote. He was very up front about the cost and prices and even gave me a time to come in when he would be best able to help. Unfortunately I had destroyed my flex pipe which ended up being a good $100 dollars to fix but I feel this is a fair price for a shop and the convenience of not to have the headache of dealing with it myself and would gladly recommend this place to anyone who's looking for an honest Hitch and Muffler shop.

I have been using A&B for the past 10 or 15 years way back when Bill owned it. Mark, the current owners has been doing work on my vehicles for the past 5 years, odd jobs that a lot of shops won't take the time to do. I have always been pleased with their work, and have been charged a fair price for that work. The folks at this shop are 'salt of the earth' type of guys and we're lucky to have their services.
